Is Shoot the Messenger safe?

Automatically unsends messages in an open Facebook Messenger thread from the desktop UI.

This extension works on a Messenger thread you open and simulates mouse clicks to remove messages one by one. The description says current Facebook UI changes cause it to delete both your messages and the recipient’s messages from your view, while unsending your messages so the thread shows an unsent-message notice instead of the original text. It also includes a rate limit pause delay setting.
