Is SimplifiedIQ Proctoring safe?

SimplifiedIQ Proctoring lets any website trigger screen captures and lockdown actions through its page message bridge.

The extension injects a content script on every site and accepts page messages without checking the sender's origin. After a page enables the bridge, it can receive a screenshot of the visible tab and send commands that close tabs or windows and disable matching installed extensions.
