Super Video Speed Controller is high risk. When the extension starts, it contacts db7.org with a unique install ID and your browser's extension ID to download a set of URL manipulation rules. These rules — which the extension operator can update at any time without a Chrome Web Store update — are installed into Chrome's built-in request interception system, where they can redirect you to different URLs, strip or add query parameters, or modify request headers on any site you visit. A second copy of the same rules also rewrites the destination of links directly on every web page you browse, before you click them. Our dynamic analysis session found an active redirect rule already loaded in storage, confirming the fetch-and-apply cycle is operational. The rules refresh automatically every two hours.
