Is SurfKeeper safe?

This extension blocks administrator-defined websites and redirects matching visits to a local warning page.

SurfKeeper checks web requests before pages load and compares them with a domain or URL block list set by an administrator. The block list can come from a remote JSON file configured in the options page or through Windows policy, reloads every 2 hours, and the last valid list remains in use if loading fails.
