Is MS Teams Video & Transcript Downloader safe?

Clean risk

MS Teams Video & Transcript Downloader captures Teams/SharePoint transcript and video URLs for download features.

On Teams and SharePoint pages, the extension wraps page fetch calls to read transcript metadata responses and video manifest URLs, including temporary SharePoint download links. It stores those URLs in the content and background scripts so a user-triggered transcript download can fetch the transcript JSON and the video dialog can build an ffmpeg or yt-dlp command.
