The Broader View sends the URL of pages you visit or click to its own server when the site matches a remotely-fetched list.

A background service worker checks every page you navigate to or link you click against a domain list it downloads hourly from an Amazon S3 bucket. When a page matches, the extension sends that page's full URL to its own backend, with your browser's credentials included, to power a 'diverse perspectives' news widget. This runs automatically once installed unless the feature is turned off.
