Is Timezone safe?
Timezone replaces the new tab page with a search box that sends typed queries to query-fuel.com.
The extension overrides the new tab page with a search form. Text typed into it is submitted to query-fuel.com/results, a third-party site, along with fixed parameters. The store description mentions only tracking time across the globe, not this search.

Where it sends data
Destinations our analysis observed Timezone contacting. Sending data somewhere is not a finding on its own - an extension that syncs your settings has to talk to its own server - but it is where your data can go, and who else it goes to.
