Toggle Image Animations is rated clean - our review surfaced no unexpected behaviour.

Clean risk

This extension lets you globally turn image animations on or off in the browser.

It provides a button or shortcut to disable animated images, with an optional setting to reload pages automatically so the change is visible right away. It can also add a context-menu option to stop animation for individual animated images when enabled in the add-on settings. The full animated image file still downloads even when only the first frame is shown.
