Is Turn Off AI Overview Google safe?

This extension hides Google AI Overview and AI Mode blocks to show a simpler search results layout.

It runs automatically on Google results pages and presents a more classic list of organic results. A toolbar control lets you switch or pause the behavior when needed. The store description says it does not require accounts or collect data.
