Is VHelper safe?

Low risk

VHelper sends Amazon Vine listing details from Vine pages to its API servers.

When you load Amazon Vine pages, VHelper extracts listed products' ASINs, titles, thumbnails, queue details, enrollment IDs, and page context, then posts that data with persistent extension identifiers to VHelper's API. It also generates a browser/device fingerprint from screen, language, canvas, WebGL, and font signals and uploads the resulting fingerprint hash with the same identifiers.

Part of this rating comes from analysis signals we haven't published as detailed findings yet.

Where it sends data

Destinations our analysis observed VHelper contacting. Sending data somewhere is not a finding on its own - an extension that syncs your settings has to talk to its own server - but it is where your data can go, and who else it goes to.
