Is Video Note & Screenshot safe?
Video Note & Screenshot forwards YouTube caption text from any tab to the connected Gemoo page.
The extension watches web requests globally and, when it sees a YouTube timedtext caption request, fetches that caption URL and sends the parsed caption data plus the URL to the active Gemoo content script. The content script converts the captions into a message list and posts them into the Gemoo page, so captions from YouTube players outside Gemoo can be exposed to scripts on Gemoo pages.

Where it sends data
Destinations our analysis observed Video Note & Screenshot contacting. Sending data somewhere is not a finding on its own - an extension that syncs your settings has to talk to its own server - but it is where your data can go, and who else it goes to.
