Volume Sound Booster is high risk. When you install the extension, it contacts MaxMind's GeoIP service to look up the country associated with your IP address. The request uses embedded MaxMind credentials and the resulting country code is stored for geo-targeting affiliate programs. When the extension runs, it creates or retrieves a persistent user identity and stores a device identifier. It sends browsing event reports, including visited page URLs and stored identifiers, to GiveFreely event infrastructure.
