Is Word Counter Plus safe?
Counts words, characters, and word lengths in selected text from the context menu or keyboard shortcut.
This extension analyzes text you highlight in the browser and shows the word count, character count, average word length, and longest word length. You can open it with a right-click menu option or with Alt+E on Windows/Linux and Command+Shift+E on Mac. The description says it does not open an external webpage for counting and does not collect or share personal data.
