Is Yahoo Customer Service Helper safe?
Yahoo Customer Service Helper sends text you select on Yahoo Shopping Japan to findniche.com when you click its ask button.
On shopping.yahoo.co.jp, the extension shows a helper dialog and remembers the first 500 characters of text you select. When you click the ask button, that text is wrapped in a prompt and posted to findniche.com, and the extension polls for the answer. No other page data is sent.

Where it sends data
Destinations our analysis observed Yahoo Customer Service Helper contacting. Sending data somewhere is not a finding on its own - an extension that syncs your settings has to talk to its own server - but it is where your data can go, and who else it goes to.
