The extension injects a content script into YouTube pages that applies user-configured quality and resolution settings by posting messages to the page context. On install, the background opens a page on barisderin.com. The content script broadcasts the extension's internal URL (containing its runtime ID) via window.postMessage with a wildcard target, which any JavaScript running in the YouTube page context can read.
