Is 7TV safe?

7TV adds emotes and viewing features to Twitch and Kick, and on Kick reads your session cookie to identify your logged-in account.

7TV is a viewing-enhancement extension that injects emotes, vanity, and performance features into twitch.tv and kick.com, the only sites it runs on. On Kick, an injected page script reads the session_token and XSRF-TOKEN cookies from the page and sends the session_token as a Bearer token to Kick's own /api/v1/user endpoint to resolve who you are signed in as. The credential is replayed only to Kick's first-party API; it is not forwarded to 7tv.app or any third party.
