Is Поиск Яндексa safe?

Low risk

Sets Yandex as the browser’s default search provider.

This extension makes Yandex the default search in the browser and provides quick access to Yandex services such as search, traffic, weather, mail, and Alice. The description says Yandex distinguishes search queries from website addresses and can suggest what you want to find from the first letters you type.

Part of this rating comes from analysis signals we haven't published as detailed findings yet.

Shared hosts - 1 hostname

Hostnames hardcoded in this extension that few other listings call. That can mean one operator behind both, and it can equally mean a small shared vendor, so it is context rather than a conclusion. Hosts that many listings call are left out: they are services, not connections.
