Is Augmented Steam safe?
Augmented Steam sends Steam game app IDs to a third-party AI service (vaporlens.app) on every store page visit by default.
When the built-in AI review-summary feature is active — which it is by default — the extension forwards the Steam app ID of each game page visited to vaporlens.app. No personal account credentials are included in the request, only the numeric app ID, but the requests fire automatically without any additional user action. Users who do not want this behaviour can disable it in the extension options under the VaporLens section.

IsThereAnyDeal s.r.o. - no other listings under this identity, 3 shared hostnames
What this publisher told the store about itself, and the other listings that told it the same thing.
Shared hosts - 3 hostnames
Hostnames hardcoded in this extension that few other listings call. That can mean one operator behind both, and it can equally mean a small shared vendor, so it is context rather than a conclusion. Hosts that many listings call are left out: they are services, not connections.

Where it sends data
Destinations our analysis observed AS contacting. Sending data somewhere is not a finding on its own - an extension that syncs your settings has to talk to its own server - but it is where your data can go, and who else it goes to.
- vaporlens.app
AS sends data to vaporlens.app. No other extension we have analysed sends data here.
