Is Bubbly Search safe?
Bubbly Search sets itself as the default browser search engine and routes every omnibox search to bubblyboard.com.
This extension has no background or content scripts; its only effect is a manifest-level override that makes 'Bubbly Search' the browser's default search provider. Once installed, any text typed into the address bar as a search is sent to https://bubblyboard.com/search along with a fixed 'ref=ext' affiliate tag, instead of going to the user's previous default search engine.

Where it sends data
Destinations our analysis observed Bubbly Search contacting. Sending data somewhere is not a finding on its own - an extension that syncs your settings has to talk to its own server - but it is where your data can go, and who else it goes to.
