Is ChatTube safe?
ChatTube sends YouTube transcripts, video details, chat prompts, and Firebase ID tokens to chattube.io.
On YouTube watch pages, the extension reads video details and captions or transcripts, initializes a chat session, and posts the transcript, title, description, language, and chat prompt to chattube.io. Its summary and mind map requests also include the signed-in user's Firebase ID token in the request URL.

Where it sends data
Destinations our analysis observed ChatTube contacting. Sending data somewhere is not a finding on its own - an extension that syncs your settings has to talk to its own server - but it is where your data can go, and who else it goes to.
