Is Chrome Reader Mode safe?

Turns web pages into a cleaner reader view for distraction-free reading.

This extension provides a simplified reading mode for articles, blog posts, and other text-heavy pages by removing clutter such as ads, sidebars, and pop-ups. It also offers offline saving, highlighting, annotations, and a reading ruler to help guide focus while reading.
