Is ClearMind — Block Porn/Adult Websites safe?
The extension scans page text on every site to detect adult content and records matching hostnames locally.
ClearMind runs a content script on all HTTP and HTTPS pages, reading the title, metadata, headings, link and button text, body text, and URL path to score the page against bundled adult-content keywords. When a page crosses its blocking threshold, it sends the URL or hostname and match summary to its background script, stores the hostname, score, languages, categories, and timestamp in local extension storage, and redirects the tab to its block page.
