Is Custom Search Engine safe?

This extension lets users create custom search engines and launch them from the browser address bar.

Users can define custom search engine details, save them to a file, and load them again for sharing or reuse. It also supports running multiple configured search engines at once with the described multi-search command. The description says it can load a list of popular search engines from raw.githubusercontent.com.
