Is Dialpad Chrome CTI safe?

Dialpad Chrome CTI scans every page's text for phone numbers, and reports visited URLs to Dialpad when an admin enables compliance.

The extension injects a content script into every page and continuously scans the page text for phone numbers, rewriting matches into Dialpad click-to-call/text links; the detected numbers stay on the page and are only sent when you click a link. Separately, when an administrator turns on the call-recording compliance feature, the extension checks each page you navigate to against admin-configured URL patterns and sends the full visited URL to Dialpad's servers when it matches. A skip list (e.g. facebook.com, youtube.com, linkedin.com, login pages) and admin exceptions suppress the phone-number scanning on some sites.
