Is Download contacts from WhatsApp groups safe?
Clean risk
Download contacts from WhatsApp groups reads phone numbers visible in WhatsApp Web group headers and saves them to a local CSV.
When used on WhatsApp Web, the extension parses the selected group chat header for visible comma-separated phone numbers, normalizes them, and builds a CSV file for download. The recorded claim found local CSV generation only and no fetch, XMLHttpRequest, beacon, cookie, storage, privileged Chrome API use, or remote endpoint carrying the contacts.
