Is DownSub - Subtitle & Transcript Downloader: YouTube, Netflix safe?
Downloads subtitles and transcripts from supported video sites in SRT, VTT, TXT, and timestamped text formats.
This extension adds a Download button on YouTube, Viki, iQIYI, Netflix, and WeTV pages so users can save available subtitle tracks without copying URLs. It also provides a transcript panel with search and click-to-seek timestamps, supports copying transcript text, and can show dual subtitles on the video. On YouTube, it uses YouTube’s translation engine for auto-translated subtitles, and some features require a DownSub account.
