Is Edit website safe?

This extension lets you edit text and page content directly on websites in Chrome.

It provides a toggleable edit mode for modifying visible webpage text, paragraphs, indentation, and layouts for mockups, demonstrations, or experimentation. The store description says users can open a URL, click the extension’s pencil icon, make changes on the page, and turn editing on or off.
