Is Emotes Everywhere safe?
Emotes Everywhere replaces configured text on selected sites with images loaded from third-party emote CDNs.
When enabled on its configured hostnames, Emotes Everywhere scans visible page text and swaps matching emote codes for inline images. The default emote set uses image URLs hosted by Twitch, FrankerFaceZ, and BetterTTV CDNs, so matching pages request those image hosts when replacements appear.

What it can do
Permissions this extension asks for, as declared in version 0.3.2. Asking for a permission is not a finding on its own - it is what the extension can do if it chooses to.

Where it sends data
Destinations our analysis observed Emotes Everywhere contacting. Sending data somewhere is not a finding on its own - an extension that syncs your settings has to talk to its own server - but it is where your data can go, and who else it goes to.
