Is Mono for YouTube safe?
Clean risk
Hides YouTube recommendations, Shorts, and interface clutter with CSS-only page changes.
This extension strips YouTube pages down by hiding homepage recommendations, sidebars, navigation menus, Shorts shelves, end cards, overlays, and various action buttons. It also hides comment input and engagement elements while keeping comments readable, disables channel links, and centers the video player. The description says it uses no JavaScript, tracking, or background processes.
