Is GIF Blocker safe?

Clean risk

Blocks animated GIF and WebP images by replacing them with a local placeholder.

This extension prevents animated GIF and WebP image requests from loading when blocking mode is enabled, which can reduce bandwidth use and improve page loading performance. You can toggle it from the toolbar, selectively load a blocked image from the right-click menu for the current session, and optionally block autoplaying video elements or CSS animation.
