Is Gmail Dark Souls Email Sent safe?

This extension replaces Gmail’s “Message sent” note with a Dark Souls–style full-screen animation.

When you send an email in Gmail, the normal small confirmation banner is replaced by a dramatic full-screen animation. The store description only describes this visual change after sending an email.
