Is Google Calendar Grouping safe?

This extension lets users create groups of Google Calendars and switch between those calendar selections quickly.

Users create calendar groups from the extension popup, then use those groups to change which calendars are selected in Google Calendar. The description notes that only calendars rendered on screen are processed at first, with off-screen calendars selected after they are rendered.
