Is Google search results shortcuts safe?

Google search results shortcuts posts its extension ID into Google search result pages when its content script starts.

The extension runs a content script on Google search result pages to add keyboard shortcuts for navigating results and switching search modes. When that content script starts, its bundled WXT bootstrap posts a page message whose type includes the extension runtime ID, making that ID visible to scripts running in the same page context.
