Is Hide YouTube™ Fullscreen Controls safe?

Clean risk

Hides YouTube video controls in fullscreen with cursor-edge actions or a hotkey.

This extension lets you hide YouTube video controls by moving the cursor to configured screen borders or by pressing a hotkey. Its settings let you choose which sides trigger hiding, configure the hotkey, and hide some video overlays and the play/pause animation. The store description says it does not currently work with embedded YouTube players.
