Is HTML5 media speed controller + subs safe?

Controls playback speed for HTML5 video and audio streams.

This extension adds controls for HTML5 media playback, including speed adjustment and a Picture-in-Picture button. It can add SRT or VTT subtitle files as WebVTT tracks, style subtitles, adjust subtitle delay, and apply video CSS such as a color matrix. The description says it stores only settings.
