Is Inspect Canonical safe?

Shows whether the current page has a self-referencing, different, missing, or invalid canonical tag.

This extension checks the page you are viewing for canonical tag conditions and displays a green, amber, or red status. It flags cases such as noindex robots meta tags, missing canonicals, multiple canonical tags, canonicals outside the head, missing href attributes, and canonicals that point to a different URL.
