Is Instapaper safe?

Instapaper uploads page content, URL, title, and selected text to its own servers when the user saves a page.

When a user clicks the browser action or presses Ctrl+Shift+I, the extension captures the current page URL, title, selected text (if any), an image thumbnail, and compressed page HTML. These are sent to www.instapaper.com via a POST request as part of the extension's core save-to-read-later feature. No data is sent without explicit user action.
