Keepa scrapes Amazon product data from browsed pages and transmits it over a persistent WebSocket to keepa.com servers.

While the user browses Amazon, the extension extracts product details — ASINs, prices, ratings, and seller IDs — using server-controlled scrape filters, then compresses and sends the data to keepa.com via WebSocket. The connection URL embeds a persistent install timestamp and a 64-character token that together identify each installation across sessions. The extension also intercepts Amazon session cookies from network responses and injects them into outgoing requests to query Amazon's internal stock and pricing endpoints.
