Is Local Markdown Viewer safe?

This extension displays local Markdown files in a GitHub-style viewer.

It converts locally opened .md and .markdown files into formatted HTML with GitHub Flavored Markdown support, syntax highlighting, and an automatically generated table of contents. It can render Mermaid diagrams and KaTeX equations, toggle dark mode, print the page, and export the rendered document as standalone HTML.
