When a user chooses to stay logged in, MasterCook saves the account password in localStorage after encrypting it with AES-CBC using a key and IV embedded in the extension bundle. Anyone who can read that stored extension data can recover the saved password. The extension UI also fetches remote offer configuration over cleartext HTTP from 3.215.157.108:807.
