Is MDwise Page Reader safe?
MDwise Page Reader sends converted page text to OpenAI using the user's own API key to produce summaries and answers.
The extension converts a page into a readable view. When the user asks for an AI summary or question answer, it sends the page's headings and text to api.openai.com, authenticated with an API key the user entered in the popup. This only runs on pages where the user granted access, and no vendor server is involved.
