Is MoneyVoters safe?
MoneyVoters compares product prices across retailers and adds its affiliate tag to the result links.
When you open the popup on a product page, the extension searches Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Home Depot, Etsy, Cabela's, Best Buy and Lowe's for the product name. It rewrites the matching result links to carry the vendor's affiliate tag (walletvoters-20). The product name is sent only to the retailers, not to the vendor.

Where it sends data
Destinations our analysis observed MoneyVoters contacting. Sending data somewhere is not a finding on its own - an extension that syncs your settings has to talk to its own server - but it is where your data can go, and who else it goes to.
