Is MuteLinks safe?

Automatically mutes or unmutes tabs based on the tab’s URL and your blacklist or whitelist settings.

This extension checks each tab when it loads or changes URL, then uses Firefox’s built-in tab mute feature according to the mode you choose. It supports muting listed sites, muting all sites except allowed ones, URL matching criteria including regular expressions, and an option to mute all private tabs.
