Is My Location Guard safe?

My Location Guard overrides your browser's geolocation API on every website so sites see a location you choose instead of your real one.

The extension injects a script into every page that replaces navigator.geolocation.getCurrentPosition and watchPosition with versions returning coordinates you set, and reports the geolocation permission as already granted. It also patches Function.prototype.toString so the overridden functions still appear native under inspection, and it stores your mode and chosen coordinates locally in chrome.storage. This is the extension's intended privacy function; no evidence of the data leaving the browser was found.
