Is NotebookLM Exporter safe?

NotebookLM Exporter reads NotebookLM chats and notes from the page to create local export downloads.

When you use its popup on a NotebookLM page, the extension extracts chat messages, note text, page titles, and related page content from the DOM. It formats that content into export files such as PDF, Markdown, or HTML and saves them through Chrome downloads; the reviewed code does not show the extracted data being sent to an external service.
