Is Open in Browser safe?

Opens downloadable documents directly in the browser instead of sending them to an external application.

This extension adds an option to open documents in the browser when a download prompt would otherwise appear. It can show an “Open in Browser” dialog based on server-provided Content-Type information, and users can also open that dialog from the Tools menu. Its permissions allow it to work across websites and interact with browser tabs, navigation, requests, menus, sessions, history, and stored settings.
