Is Override Text Encoding safe?

This extension lets you manually override a webpage’s text encoding from a toolbar popup.

You can choose a character encoding for a single page or for an entire domain to fix pages with broken or unreadable characters. It applies overrides by modifying the page’s Content-Type header, and its preferences let you edit saved overrides, including Default and Autodetect options.
