Is PDF Signer safe?
PDF Signer stores uploaded PDF contents in the browser's local storage so they reload when the page opens.
When a user uploads or drops a PDF, the extension reads it as a base64 string and saves it under savedPDF in localStorage, along with the saved file name. On later loads, it reads that savedPDF value back from localStorage and reconstructs the PDF for display. The reviewed code does not show the saved PDF being sent to an external endpoint.
