Is PokeTab - Pokemon in your New Tab safe?

This extension shows animated Pokémon-style sprites on the browser’s new tab page.

It adds pixel-art pocket monster sprites to new tabs and lets you click the page to open an options panel. The description says it supports Pokémon up to and including Generation IX, with options for selections, forms, extras, and shiny-related settings.
