Is Readable Web TTS Extension safe?

This extension reads selected web page text aloud using the text-to-speech voices on your Mac.

It speaks accessible web page content when you select text, and can also speak words, lines, or sentence-like blocks under the mouse based on its settings. On supported sites, it underlines individual words as they are spoken and lets you choose the underline color. It does not speak PDF files shown in the browser.
